Data deletion

How to disconnect a social account from FeedStreak, and how to ask for the FeedStreak account itself to be deleted.

Disconnect one social account

Sign in, open Accounts, and choose Disconnect on that channel. Confirm the dialog. This is the in-product control for a single destination such as one YouTube channel, TikTok account, Facebook Page, Instagram account, or Threads profile.

If a post for that channel is still uploading or waiting on the platform, disconnect is refused until that attempt finishes.

What happens to OAuth tokens

If that channel has no publishing history, FeedStreak deletes the channel record. When no other destination shares the same stored grant, FeedStreak also deletes the stored tokens.

If the channel already has posts in the workspace, FeedStreak marks it disconnected, cancels posts that had not started uploading, and keeps the record of what was already published. The encrypted credential stays with that history. When no other active destination still uses the grant, TikTok and X integrations ask the platform to revoke the token. Other integrations, including Google and Meta, disconnect inside FeedStreak without a platform revoke call, because one login can cover more than one channel or Page.

A Threads uninstall or data-deletion callback from Meta disables the matching Threads connection and wipes the stored Threads tokens so they can no longer be used. Publishing history for those posts is kept. That callback does not delete the rest of the FeedStreak account.

Delete your FeedStreak account

There is no button in the product that deletes the whole FeedStreak account. To request deletion, email the contact address below from the email on the account and state that you want the account and its workspace data deleted.

That address is not published yet, so an email deletion request cannot be sent from this page until it is.

What a deletion request covers

When we process an account deletion request, we delete the data we hold for that account, including:

  • the account email, name, and password hash, and active sessions
  • workspace membership and, where you are the only member, the workspace data we can remove
  • connected social-account records and stored OAuth tokens
  • uploaded videos, captions, schedules, and publishing records held in FeedStreak

What may remain

A limited record may be kept where it is still needed to finish a publish already in progress, to protect the service from abuse, or where the law requires it. This page does not state a fixed number of days for that remainder. Copies held by a hosting or database provider for its own operations may also persist on that provider’s cycle. We do not publish a backup retention period.

Deleting the FeedStreak account does not remove videos already published on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, or any other platform. Delete those on the platform itself.
